This Privacy Policy describes how Sugee Farms (“Sugee Farms”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information about you (“you”, “Customer”) when you access, register on, or transact through our website at https://sugee.scaleify.in (the “Platform”).

By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). 1. Information We Collect

(a) Information you provide to us:

Identity: full name, business / company name, GST number (if you provide one).
Contact: email address, phone number, delivery and billing addresses.
Account credentials: encrypted password.
Order details: items ordered, quantities, prices, delivery instructions, payment-related details.

(b) Information collected automatically:

Log data: IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps.
Cookies and session identifiers issued by our authentication provider for the sole purpose of keeping you signed in.

We do not collect or store debit or credit card details. Payments by UPI or bank transfer happen outside the Platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

to create and maintain your account;
to receive, process, confirm, and deliver your orders;
to issue invoices and maintain order records as required under applicable law;
to communicate with you about your orders, including transactional emails (order received, order confirmed, etc.);
to respond to your enquiries, requests, or grievances;
to detect, prevent, and address fraud or misuse of the Platform;
to comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share your information only as follows:

Service providers who help us operate the Platform — currently our hosting and database provider (Supabase) and our transactional email provider (Resend). These providers process information only on our instructions and are bound by appropriate confidentiality obligations.
Delivery personnel — the minimum information required to fulfil your delivery (name, delivery address, phone number, order details).
Authorities or other third parties — where disclosure is required under applicable law, court order, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, including for as long as your account is active, to comply with our tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Invoice and order records may be retained for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law.

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted password storage, role-based access controls, and row-level database security. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

access a summary of the personal data we process about you;
request correction, completion, or updating of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
request erasure of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records;
withdraw consent for processing (note: withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to continue providing certain services to you);
nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity;
file a grievance with our Grievance Officer (see Section 10) and, if unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and session identifiers issued by our authentication provider, for the purpose of keeping you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.

8. Children

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The revised Policy will be effective from the “Last updated” date stated above. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email.
